I promised to get this out to the world once The Steam Engine Twitter account 1,000 followers, so here you are! Thanks to everyone who RT'ed and mentioned and passed around and told friends.
This set is quite phenomanal. Bon Iver fans out there know how few good Bon Iver recordings there are out there. The Steam Engine has compiled most (I think all?) of them in The Treasury but newer stuff is still hard to come by.
Not the entire set was broadcast. "Blood Bank" and "Holocene" were left out of the YouTube stream. Luckily, "Blood Bank" was recorded and released so I was able to splice it in. You'll probably notice something going into and out of "Blood Bank" but once it's on and you're mesmerized, err... I mean listening, it's tough to tell.
Thanks everyone out there for the continued support. It means a a lot. And thanks to all the tapers that make so much of the music I post here possible.

Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 4:24PM - LCD Soundsystem wrapped up their epic ten-year career with a near four-hour blowout at Madison Square Garden last Saturday. Everyone from Aziz Ansari (who got roughed up from crowd surfing) to Arcade Fire was there. Watch the full concert here.
- The night before, The Strokes warmed up the Garden with a sold out show that featured a guest appearance by Elvis Costello.
- My Morning Jacket is releasing a 12" single with a new song from Circuital on Record Store Day. Too bad it will only be available in Kentucky ...
- Speaking of Record Store Day (which is next Saturday), Ryan Adams posted photos on his website of the new EP he and the Cardinals will be releasing. Luckily, those will be available everywhere.
- Neil Young is prepping a new (well, old) live album that will contain five previously unreleased songs.
- The Decemberists visit Jimmy Kimmel Live to perform "This is Why We Fight."
- Bonnaroo added more artists and released their 2011 comedy lineup early this afternoon.
- Finally! A glimpse of the Beastie Boys' short film Fight for Your Right Revisited has been released. Spoiler alert: it's awesome.
Check back next week!
